Dr. Hal Brown has practiced medicine in Cape Girardeau, MO for more 30 years. He knows us and we know him. We have literally entrusted our lives to his care. He has helped us heal physically, financially and emotionally. Now Hal feels called to carry those healing priorities to a very sick Washington, D.C. He believes Missouri’s voice has faded to fly-over status as the so-called East and West coast elites further consolidate America’s wealth into fewer and fewer hands. At the same time, the national debt skyrockets and taxes become all-consuming to pay for increasingly reckless conduct. These observations have motivated Hal’s readiness to represent Missouri’s 8th District and work for real, positive change to ensure a sound future for our children and grandchildren.

The national debt is the most pressing issue facing our nation today. It currently stands at $19 trillion, an increase from $10 trillion in 2009 when Obama took office. At this rate the national debt in 2026 could very …READ MORE
“I would have used Congress’ constitutional power of the purse to force changes to the Obama administration’s current policies. We should have stopped the president’s illegal push for amnesty. Obamacare should have been defunded. No constitutional authority for Obamacare exists. It was foisted upon the American people by proven lies and deception. The role of the federal government in healthcare must be determined by the consent of the governed, not by an arrogant few…”

“It is our families that should drive change. It is our children and our grandchildren who will feel the effects of our irresponsible actions now. Abortion of the unborn is a reprehensible immorality. The federal government has no business funding such violence against the innocent.”
If we are to preserve our blessed Republic, we need leaders ready to stand firm and make tough decisions. We cannot kick the can down the road any longer. If I am elected, I will strive to be faithful to the trust you place in me as your U.S. Representative.
With your help, financial support and vote, I believe we can make a real difference. As Ben Franklin told Mrs. Powel when she asked what form of government the Founders had decided upon, Mr. Franklin said, “A republic if you can keep it.”
We must work together to keep our Republic. Let us stand shoulder to shoulder.
